Fisheries and Wildlife, Pre-Vet (BSFR ’24) Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia Why did you choose your Warnell major? I came to UGA as a genetics major due to my interest in conservation medicine, but quickly realized it wouldn't offer me information specific to animal health and I would be spending a significant amount of time inside laboratories. I was scrolling through UGA's list of majors and, at the very bottom, found Wildlife science. I only needed one quick look at the website to realize this major was the perfect blend of my passions-the outdoors and animals! What's one thing you want your fellow students to know about you? I absolutely love anything having to do with Warnell! I have found my friends for life here and am always down to study or hang out! I want other students to always feel like they can approach me and have a fun time :) What's your favorite Warnell memory? My favorite Warnell memory was the first time I visited the deer barn during my techniques lab my first semester in the professional program! We got to help tag a fawn and spend time petting the "domesticated" deer, which was totally surreal!
