Minor in Wildlife Sciences

About this Degree

Complement your major in biology, ecology, or other environmental sciences with a minor in Wildlife Sciences. This minor will give you a deeper understanding of wildlife and where they live, along with their management and populations.

What you will learn

A minor in Wildlife Sciences provides you with hands-on experiences through labs and fieldwork—whether it’s sampling populations or studying animal behavior—that give you an edge after graduation. At least 15 hours of coursework is required to complete this minor, including a required introductory class. Additional courses delve into sampling techniques, policy, or specific types of wildlife; these include:
