Kyle Woosnam

Professor of Tourism Planning and Management & Warnell School Graduate Coordinator

Our research examines social and environmental change from outside forces (i.e., natural hazards, development, and visitors) —focusing often at either the regional or community levels. As such, we undertake research on the former from an urban and regional planning perspective and the latter from a sustainable community tourism planning and management perspective.

Our approach endorses and aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals:
3—good health and well-being
8—decent work and economic growth
11—sustainable cities and communities
12—responsible consumption and production
13—climate action
