Join American Forest Management for an enriching summer internship opportunity in the vibrant Louisiana Region! We are seeking 1 dynamic individuals eager to explore the world of forestry alongside our seasoned professionals. As an intern at one of our locations in Natchitoches, LA, you'll embark on a journey of growth and hands-on learning under the mentorship of our skilled foresters.
Our seasoned foresters are experts in the field and are here to train new foresters entering the industry. Our standards are high. We pride ourselves in being subject matter experts in our field, and our employees will have access to experienced professionals in every facet of Forestry. Position Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Forestry or Natural Resources.
  • Passion for exploring a career in consulting forestry.
  • Previous experience in forest inventory is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with GIS & GPS applications is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, managers, and contractors.
  • Valid driver’s license.
