Job Summary:
As a member of the Production Team at Select Trees, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and appearance of our tree inventory. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, performing essential tasks that contribute to the growth and success of our nursery. This position requires physical strength, good work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Care and Harvest:
Assist in the planting, pruning, transplanting, and harvesting of trees and shrubs.
Monitor the health and growth of plants.
2. Irrigation and Watering:
Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
Monitor moisture levels and adjust watering schedules as needed.
3. Weeding and Pest Control:
Maintain a weed-free environment by regularly weeding and mulching.
4.Loading and Unloading:
Safely load trees for customer delivery.
Assist with organizing and moving inventory within the nursery.
5. Equipment Operation:
Operate nursery equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues.
6. General Maintenance:
Keep the nursery grounds clean and organized.
Perform tasks related to the maintenance of building structures and equipment.
7. Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding plant care and handling.

Qualifications:
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Previous experience with manual labor preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a Team.
Strong attention to detail.

Salary:
$50,000-$65,000 per year
