Develop and maintain relationships with silviculture contractors, and harvesting contractors. Knowledgeable in areas of forest silviculture, pesticide regulations, harvest operations. Implement, as part of a team, the strategic plan based on Comprehensive Property Management Plan outputs Reports to – Georgia/Florida Area Manager Specific Duties: Implement as part of a team the Mid-Atlantic Region harvesting and silviculture program and ensure quality control objectives are met. Provide ground reconnaissance to be used in the development of strategic harvest planning. Assist in the development of annual property budgets and subsequent forecasts as needed. Provide Geographical Information Systems (GIS) support for silviculture related operations. Design permit and administrate silviculture and harvesting contracts.
