Job Description:

The College of Natural Resources at UW-Stevens Point is hiring two tenure track faculty positions focused on the Arboriculture and Urban & Community Forestry option (UCF) in the Forestry Discipline. As faculty members of the UCF team, you will have the flexibility to teach courses within the core UCF area, including Arboriculture and Landscape Management, Functional Tree Biology, Nursery Management, Ornamental Trees and Shrubs, Tree Care Techniques, and Urban and Community Forestry. These faculty members will have responsibilities for undergraduate teaching (100%), 12 credits per semester along with scholarship and service activities. Teaching during the Summer Field Experience program for additional compensation is expected. In addition, the opportunity exists to develop on-line curriculum in UCF and/or utility vegetation management and for involvement in research, outreach, and international programs to meet University scholarship and service requirements.
