Implements current practices and procedures and adapts new ones to enhance and improve Wildlife programs. Ensures that personnel under their direction use and comply with safety procedures and properly use safety equipment. Plans, conducts, and/or oversees tasks that require a substantial knowledge of wildlife management methods, procedures, and techniques, such as wildlife population census. Operates a variety of government furnished motor vehicles such as 4x4 utility vehicles (UTV’s),automobiles and light trucks, pull behind trailers, farm tractors, and all-terrain vehicles (ATV’s). Provides technical support to the threatened and endangered species (TES) management, game management, fisheries management, habitat management, and invasive species management programs.
