Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills

Washington Farms is a prominent agritourism farm in the state of Georgia, and we are currently seeking individuals to join our team! Our fall pumpkin season starts in late September and runs through the beginning of November. During our fall season we offer Pick-Your-Own pumpkins and flowers, weekday field trips, a full concession stand, and many recreational activities such as ziplines, petting zoo, low ropes course, hayrides and more! 

As a cashier, you will be required to operate a register using Square POS for iPad while providing exceptional customer service to our guests! iPads are used in our pumpkin patch, flower field, food service buildings, and admissions building. You will be responsible for collecting most forms of payment, as well as checking customers in through our online ticketing system. 

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are preferred. 

  • Must be willing and able to work outdoors 
  • Must be able to follow instructions with minimal to no supervision. 
  • Must be able to problem solve and think on your feet in a high sales volume environment 
  • Must be available weekday mornings and/or weekends, as these are our busiest times each week 
  • Must be very friendly, approachable, and respectful 
  • Must have general knowledge of Washington Farms and all that we offer. 
  • Must have the ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
