Our technologically advanced and innovative conifer nursery is located in the beautiful Shasta Valley of Northern California. Recognizing this being a team-oriented and hands-on position, living in the general Siskiyou County area is essential.About the PositionResponsibilities center around shipping and logistics for conifer nursery productsManage nursery shipping and production schedules in coordination with production and horticulture departments while meeting critical timelines and prioritiesManage nursery inventory system and accurate crop countsWork directly and collaboratively with production lead in all aspects of logistical and production responsibilitiesCompile production reporting, proactively identifying challenges and solutions, and effectively communicate with the managerEnsure product quality and delivery deadlines are met and align with customer goalsUtilize inventory management software to track inventory and map throughout the facilityEffectively communicate and collaborate with team members to support informed decision makingWork closely with nursery manager for customer requests and preferencesOperate forklift in a safe and efficient mannerWork alternate schedules and overtime depending on production needsApplications are open until position is filled Qualifications2 years’ experience in nursery operations or recent related production/shipping activities with excellent work referencesSolid understanding of nursery scheduling and logistics preferredExperience in safe forklift operationStrong self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a dynamic work environment Job Field: Other Job Type: Full Time Location Detail: Grenada, CA - Grenada Conifer Nursery & Seed Center Salary: $28.50/hr Job Benefits: Why Join Our Team?Because this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
