Our technologically advanced and innovative conifer nursery is located in the beautiful Shasta Valley of Northern California. Recognizing this being a team-oriented and hands-on position, living in the general Siskiyou County area is essential.About the PositionResponsibilities center around shipping, logistics, and production for conifer nursery productsAssist with scheduling and logistics to meet production and customer needsEffectively navigate and adapt packing schedule to ensure all timelines are metAssist with cooler/freezer mapping for optimum efficiency and organizationSupport efficiency, accuracy and safety in shipping processes including loading trucks, creating BOLs, and inventory logisticsAssist with inventory management to track inventory and map throughout the facilityEffectively communicate and collaborate with team members to support informed decision makingWork with other nursery techs on sow line, thinning, transplanting, and weeding as necessaryOperate forklift in a safe and efficient mannerWork alternate schedules and overtime depending on production needsApplications are open until position is filled Qualifications1 year of recent related experience with good work referencesExperience in safe forklift operation preferredStrong self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated to be highly adaptable and organized in frequently changing work environment Job Field: Other Job Type: Full Time Location Detail: Grenada, CA - Grenada Conifer Nursery & Seed Center Salary: $25.46/hr Job Benefits: Why Join Our Team?Because this is more than an invitation, it's a commitment to offer opportunities for personal and professional growth to everyone!
