Job Description:

Glisson Camp and Retreat Center in Dahlonega, Georgia is seeking students to be part of our team for Summer 2022. Glisson is a camp in the beautiful North Georgia mountains that is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Our team members are caring individuals who exhibit good communication and organizational skills, and aspire to have a positive impact on the lives of children and youth. We currently have several counselor and coordinator positions available, which provide students the opportunity to build invaluable and highly marketable soft-skills, strengthen their leadership capabilities, form close friendships, and engage in deeply meaningful work impacting children, all while working in a highly supportive environment. Glisson is a co-ed residential camp that runs traditional programming (Village), adventure/off site programming (Outpost), as well as programming for children/adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities (Sparrowwood). Glisson offers a competitive summer salary ($3,000/summer for first-time counselors), lodging for the summer, as well as all meals during camp sessions.
