Research Professional
Lab Manager

Emily is a research professional and lab manager in the Bothwell lab. She is currently studying the dispersal of narrowleaf cottonwood trees throughout North America using chloroplast DNA. She has enjoyed working on a wide variety of topics throughout her career, ranging from molecular cardiology to stem cells in marine annelids. While completing her master's degree at Uppsala University, Emily studied transcriptional responses to chytrid disease in toads. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and camping.
