Jaana Korhonen

Assistant Professor of Sustainability Science

I hold a PhD in Forest Economics and Marketing from the University of Helsinki, Finland. Prior to pursuing my PhD, I completed a dual transatlantic MSc degree in Forest Resources from the University of Helsinki, Finland and North Carolina State University, U.S. I have held research fellow and postdoctoral positions at several institutions including the USDA Forest Service, University of Helsinki, and LUT University, Finland. In addition to serving on editorial and scientific boards, I am a member of the Women’s Forest Congress Steering Committee and was previously affiliated with the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science.
