Sabrina Rahman

Sabrina Rahman is from Bangladesh and studying for her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Bynum Boley. The key focus of her Ph.D. is to measure and analyze the impacts of social media platforms and destination stereotypes in shaping tourists' behavioral responses and travel activities. She also has a keen interest in research areas such as the dynamics of destination image, responsible tourist behavior, sustainable tourism and other contemporary factors in determining the travel behaviors of tourists.

Education:

I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degree majoring in Tourism & Hospitality Management from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a second master’s in Tourism & International Development from University of Brighton, UK.

I have around 7 years of experience in university teaching and currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UGA.
