Sarah Frances McNair

Research and Outreach Paraprofessional

Sarah Frances McNair is a fisheries research and outreach professional at the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, where she has worked since 2023. She collaborates with a team of biologists, including Wesley Gerrin and Emma Browning, to conduct a wide variety of research and outreach projects. She has earned both her Master's and Bachelor's in fisheries from Warnell. 

Her personal research interests include lotic freshwater systems and aquatic nuisance species. Her outreach interests include aquatic nuisance species awareness, aquatic plant management, and general fisheries management for both professionals and students. She regularly organizes outreach events, assists with the annual Fisheries Field Camp, trains students in a variety of fisheries and outreach techniques, and develops interactive learning opportunities for anyone interested in the field of fisheries.
