Employer HNTB Corporation Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Responsibilities of the Ecology/ Environmental Intern include: Assisting environmental team members with data collection and conducting basic research. Maintains records, collections, and files related to specific projects. Asist with wetland delineations, protected species surveys, and inspecting transportation structures for bats and migratory birds. Assists in the development of graphics, presentation of materials, and reports. Develops and delivers a final presentation documenting their internship experience at HNTB.Expect to work about 25% in the field and 75% in an office setting. Intern is expected to work in-person in our Atlanta officePerforms other duties as assigned.
