Job Description:

Travis Pruitt & Associates, Inc. (TPA), a mid-sized Norcross based engineering, surveying and environmental consultant firm, has an immediate opening for an entry level Environmental Scientists. Duties for qualified applicants will include waters/wetlands work related to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permitting, local tree ordinance interpretation and permitting, State waters identification and permitting, erosion control inspections, water quality monitoring, as well as other duties related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit. Knowledge of trees and fauna found in the southeastern United States is required. Experience in wetlands delineation, USACE permitting and Georgia State waters requirements would be beneficial. Job duties will be 50-60 percent fieldwork 40-50 percent office work. Must be able to work independently, work flexible hours and travel daily around the State.

Qualifications:

Minimum of Bachelors Degree in a Biology related field and a clean driving record are required.

Salary:
TBD based on qualifications. (starting $35,000-$45,000 plus overtime pay)
