Join us on October 2 at 3:30 p.m. for a talk on Historical perspectives in hydrology to understand the ecology of isolated wetlands in the Lower Flint River Basin. Dr. Marzolf is an aquatic ecologist with expertise in both Southeastern freshwaters and tropical streams. His research centers on the lower ACF Basin, where he investigates aquatic ecosystem structure and function, the conservation of diverse fauna, biogeochemical processes, and the impacts of water availability. He earned his B.S. from the University of Florida, M.S. from UGA’s Odum School of Ecology and the Jones Center, and a Ph.D. from NC State University’s Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources.
