Fiber Procurement Representative

This position will perform fiber procurement activities in support of the New Bern Mill. The position will be responsible for a) all market roundwood to the Mill and be accountable to mill and region for budget and fiber cost targets; b)  supplier compliance with appropriate EMS requirements, monitoring and scheduling fiber quality and flow to the facility as well as coordinating procurement efforts with the Riegelwood Basin; c) negotiating for and purchasing pulpwood and chips, contract administrative activities, and ensure contractor compliance in the field of operations. The position will also be responsible for compliance with all other safety, environmental, and government regulations that our business must follow.  The position requires flexibility to take on special projects associated with our procurement operations when appropriate. The successful candidate will have their office based at the New Bern Fiber Supply office in Vanceboro, NC
