Fiber may include pulpwood, chips, recycled fiber, and fiber fuel (biomass). Successful candidates will support raw materials acquisition, harvesting, logistics coordination, contract negotiations, and inventory management. Responsibilities may also include oversight of relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with contracts and company policies and procedures, including financial, safety, and environmental performance. Activities are divided among the mill, field (forest, chips mills, saw mills, etc.), and office environments. Successful candidates will be expected to analyze and interpret data to help solve problems and improve the effectiveness of the organization. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or graduate degree (Forestry, Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, Transportation, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or other similar degree programs) • Authorized to work in the U.S. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Self-starter as demonstrated by prior summer or intern work experience and/or involvement in campus activities, clubs, student government, etc. • Demonstrated leadership skills Miscellaneous: International Paper (NYSE: IP) is a leading global supplier of renewable fiber-based products.
