Job Description:

Campbell Global is seeking a highly motivated Forest Business Intern to work with and learn from top talent within the timberland investment industry.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The position will consist of an analytical project, or projects, tailored to the skills, interest, and experience of the candidate.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Specific duties will be determined based on the intern’s skills, interest and experience.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Forest Management, Bachelor in Business Administration, or acceptable related field.

Currently pursuing Masters or PhD in Forest Economics, Forest Management, Forest Business or related field.

At least one degree must be in Forestry or Natural Resources

Ability to address complex issues through analytics.

Strong interpersonal communication and team skills are required.

Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and results orally, graphically and in writing.

Employment Term: Summer 2024 – Dates TBD

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Knowledge and/or experience with forest operations and optimal silvicultural management experience.

Experience with growth and yield models appropriate for the PNW and Southern US.

Proficiency using SQL, Microsoft Office suite, and ESRI products.

Demonstrated understanding of GIS and remote sensing applications.

Demonstrated understanding of the timberland investment management business.
