Employer F&W Forestry Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills Primary responsibilities will be field work consisting of forest inventories, timber and boundary marking; collecting GPS field data, prescribed burning, logging supervision, planting supervision in addition to other detailed organizational skills with files and paper work. Occasional travel out of town will be required for inventory work. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. A minimum two-year forestry degree is required. An additional 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar forestry field is preferred. Computer skills and other digital skills will be necessary. Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
