Employer F&W Forestry Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills Primary responsibilities will be field work consisting of forest inventories, timber and boundary marking; collecting GPS field data, in addition to other detailed organizational skills with files and paperwork. The field time work may consist of up to 30% out of town work annually. Periods of travel may exceed 30% during the year with the changing workflow throughout the year. This travel percentage is not likely to change much annually with promotion and career development. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. A minimum two year forestry degree is required. An additional 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar forestry field is preferred. Computer skills and other digital skills will be necessary. Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
