Forester

This position provides professional forestry leadership, advice, and guidance to private and public forest landowners, federal, state, and local government agencies, and other conservation groups on woodland exams, timber stand analysis, written management plan advice, tree planting recommendation, wildlife habitat recommendations, erosion and sedimentation recommendations, timber harvesting recommendations, diagnose and conduct forest health surveys and conduct other various site visit recommendations. This position compiles, analyzes and interprets forest inventory and forestry data; develops and presents forestry information for all educational programs to schools and the public; and serves as Ginseng and Insect and Disease Coordinator.
