Assist in determining ownership and obtaining permission from the owner to enter property where plots are located. Transmits completed data to U.S. Forest Service. Attends training sessions related to the Forest Inventory and Analysis program and other required or voluntary South Carolina Forestry Commission training. Attends South Carolina forestry activities as appropriate and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree in forestry from a college or university accredited by the Society of American Foresters. Must successfully pass the U.S. Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis certification test within the first year of employment. A copy of the unofficial/official transcript must be included with the application.
