Maintain a consistent presence on social media. Perform demonstrations to support educational programs on university, private, and public properties. Liaise with public and private forest organizations to provide Arkansas with a research-based program that meets the needs of the state. This position is expected to provide training, collaboration and support to county extension agents and programs. The successful candidate must be able to respond to needs of the of the County Extension Agents to solve landowner problems. Candidates must have the ability and desire to collaborate with faculty from the Cooperative Extension Service, Agriculture Experiment Station, and College of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources at University of Arkansas at Monticello and a desire to develop educational programs for forest landowners, County Extension Agents, professional foresters, and 4-H youth. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications A M.S. in a natural resources-related field, with at least one degree in forestry or forest management. Skills & Knowledge Must meet the requirements to be a registered forester in Arkansas before or after employment. The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate to a wide audience in social media, publications, and presentations. Ability to work with youth in the 4-H program.
