Work will primarily consist of wildland fuels mitigation projects, chainsaw use, and other forest health activities. This crew will allow you to get loads of chainsaw time and expose you to connections in the fire world. Crews receive basic wildland fire certifications such as Red Card, S130, S190, Nationally recognized saw certifications, and Basic First Aid. Crew Members also receive training in federal hiring.
