MCC is hiring Fuels & Fire Crew Members! We focus on the growth of our members, transferable job skills, and making a positive impact on the climate and environment. Crew Members and their crews will camp while working on physically demanding conservation projects across the Northern Rockies and Plains. Work will primarily consist of wildland fuels mitigation projects, chainsaw use, and other forest health activities. This crew will allow you to get loads of chainsaw time and expose you to connections in the fire world. Crews receive basic wildland fire certifications such as Red Card, S130, S190, Nationally recognized saw certifications, and Basic First Aid. Crew Members also receive training in federal hiring. Living Allowance: $737 biweekly before taxes

AmeriCorps Education Award: $3247.50

Salary:
$1,474 p/month AmeriCorps living stipend
