Employer South Carolina Waterfowl Association Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills Gary Dietrich Wildlife Management Apprenticeship Internship Program Title: Gary Dietrich Wildlife Management Apprentice Intern Location: Pinewood, SCTerms: Full-Time 10 weeks / 400hour Starting Date: May 2026Salary: $7.25Requirements: Degree related to Wildlife Management About: The Gary Dietrich Wildlife Management Apprentice Intern Program is a 10-week program designed to introduce wildlife students to the Gary Dietrich Wildlife Management Apprenticeship Program (GDWMAP). The GDWMAP exists to train the next generation of land management professionals who will make a large-scale positive impact on Wildlife Management. Candidates who are pursuing an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree can come to learn hands-on wildlife, fisheries, and natural resource management skills. Through the implementation of a quality curriculum, expert instructors, and a host of industry and landowner partners, we are equipping apprentices with the training and on-the-job experience needed to provide quality wildlife management on public and private lands.
