GIS Interns will be exposed to the operational use of GIS software, map making, photo interpretation, and spatial and tabular analytical support. Although the emphasis of the internship will be GIS centric, interns will receive a well-rounded view of Rayonier. You will have the opportunity to work with many facets of the company including acquisitions, business development and inventory. Familiarity with ESRI’s ArcGIS and Microsoft Excel is required; exposure to Microsoft Access, Python or SQL is desired but not required. The GIS internships are based in the Rayonier corporate office location, Wildlight, FL.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

- Students in their Junior, Senior year or Graduate studies

- Degree Concentration – Computer Science, GIS, Geography, Forestry, or related natural resources field

- Each internship duration will last ten to twelve weeks.

- Candidates should be self-motivated

- Able to work independently and as a team

- Effective communication skills

Salary:
$21.50-$24.50
