The Athens-Clarke County Public Utilities Department and Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources have formed a partnership to support the ACC Water Conservation outreach program. The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for preparing and presenting educational materials, leading tours of water treatment facilities, assisting with community events, and supervising interns. While working part-time, 20 hrs/week the graduate assistant will work towards their Masters in Natural Resources. Graduate assistant will be required to commit to this position for 2 years (August 2026-May 2028), with the flexibility of a start date in the Summer of 2026. 

Candidate for this position must be comfortable engaging with groups of people and have strong public speaking skills while leading tours and classroom visits. Education and outreach events are a combination of independent and group activities therefore candidate must work well independently and with others.
