Position Description: A graduate research assistantship in forest resource economics is available at Mississippi State University for a master’s student to conduct research on the economics and finance of forestland conservation practices.

Application: The assistantship begins in January 2026. Recruitment will start immediately and continue until the position is filled. Qualifications: A strong background in economics and statistics is needed. Some knowledge of forestry is preferred but not required.
