Job Description:

I am a private landowner who is in the process of improving a 300 acre tract of land 45 minutes Southeast of Athens. This upcoming year I will be conducting prescribed burns and applying herbicides as needed in order to achieve restoration of pastures into early successional habitat for deer, turkey, quail, and all of the other creatures that benefit from old field habitat. In the hardwoods and wetland I will be conducting Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) with a combination of hack-n-squirt, hinge cutting, stump sprouting, and tree felling. Looking for part time help for weekend projects. May only need for a few days, so no long term commitment

Qualifications:

A willingness to work and a strong back! Familiarity with wildlife habitat work would be nice but not necessary.

Salary:
$15/hr or one day of hunting for one day of work
