Major duties/responsibilities include: - Oversight and management of an approximate annual budget of $2,000,000 - Development and Implementation of Fish and Wildlife Habitat Restoration and Conservation Projects on federal public lands throughout New Mexico, utilizing funds from the Habitat Stamp Program. - Statewide coordination with Federal natural resource managers, NGO's, Department of Game and Fish staff and biologists and with a State Game Commission appointed Citizen Advisory committee. -Facilitation of Public meetings to include and inform the public about Program activities. This position has both field and office duties, with an approximately even (50/50) split. Qualifications: Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Range Management, Range Science, Wildlife Biology, Environment Science, Conservation Science, Natural Resources, Watershed Management, Anthropology or Archeology and two (2) years of experience in Forestry or Range Management, Range Science, Wildlife Biology, Environment Science, or Watershed Management, Anthropology or Archeology.
