Deadline: Fri, 10/11/2024 - 12:00pm Employer: Georgia Wildlife Federation Job Field: Other Job Type: Full Time Location: Georgia Location Detail: Covington GA Job Description: Hunters for the Hungry Program Coordinator The Georgia Wildlife Federation’s Hunters for the Hungry Program Coordinator oversees the Hunters for the Hungry program, campaigns, and activities related to fundraising and awareness for the program. Program responsibilities range from coordinating donations, fundraising, record-keeping, and volunteer management. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Serve as point of contact for inquires related to GWF’s Hunters of the Hungry program and fundraising from public and/or press. Inspect, meet, and contract with processors across the state to take donated deer. Work to add new processors and donor sites to meet annual goals. Collaborate with internal marketing team to create content for materials and communications related to all fundraising and initiatives. Content may include (but not limited to): emails, advertisements, flyers, invitations, website, social media posts, and newsletters. Establish drop off donation locations for processed meat adjacent to processors, establishing relationships with food bank and food ministries across the state. Collaborate with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to obtain any needed permits or donations for the Hunters for the Hungry program. Assist in maintaining GWF’s fundraising software, database (The Databank), website, and other systems to ensure information related to fundraising is accurate and up-to-date. Establish volunteers to help with program needs.
