In-Sync Exotics Internship Program 
Location:Wylie, Texas 
Ready for an unforgettable, hands-on dive into the world of big cat conservation? Fully verified 
by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and accredited by the American Sanctuary 
Association, Members of Tigers in America. In-Sync Exotics is home to over 70 incredible 
exotic cats—including lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, lynx, servals, and a cheetah! 
We are looking for passionate, driven individuals for our immersive 3-month and 6-month 
internship programs. You won't just watch from the sidelines—you will step directly into the 
heart of sanctuary life and work side-by-side with our close-knit team! 
What You’ll Do 
● Daily Operations: Tackle everything from heavy food shipments and preparing 
specialized diets to feeding, medicating, and cleaning spacious enclosures. 
● Enrichment & Care: Craft engaging enrichment items, perform behavioral observations, 
and keep meticulous health records. 
● Specialized Learning: Assist with emergency medical care in our on-site vet clinic, 
observe behavioral training, and learn the ins and outs of sanctuary grounds 
maintenance. 
This is a gritty, incredibly rewarding, full-immersion experience. You’ll work hard in all weather 
conditions, put in long hours alongside dedicated teammates, and tackle diverse 
challenges—from early morning diet prep to a weekly night shift (7:30 PM – 11:00 PM). Expect a 
standard 5-day work week (approx. 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) with 2 well-deserved days off.

● Perks: Free on-site housing included + a $100/week stipend (paid bi-weekly). 
● Upcoming Terms: 
○ Fall: September 15, 2026 – November 29, 2026  
○ Winter: December 6, 2026 – February 20, 2027  
○ Spring: February 22, 2027 - May 16, 2027 
○ (Flexible dates available—inquire if your schedule varies slightly!)  
Requirements 
● Age 18+ working toward or holding a degree in an animal-related field. 
● Physical endurance to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather. 
● Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.
