Katy Trail Coordinator

We are looking for someone to join our team who loves serving others while working within Missouri's finest examples of natural, cultural, and recreational resources for all to enjoy! What you'll do: - This position (7020008) handles topics, projects and programs that impact all sections of the Katy Trail, such as the volunteer program, park donation program, and special event planning and permitting. This position also provides the first point of contact for calls, emails and contacts from visitors with questions or concerns about Katy Trail State Park. - Perform management duties relating to the overall operation, maintenance and visitor services of Katy Trail State Park which includes visitor services, budgeting, procurement, preservation, research, interpretation, special event coordination and other management tasks - Assist in planning and developing preservation and management plan concepts and proposals for facility - Research, collect, and organize draft data for fiscal, statistical, and operational reports - Supervise and evaluate seasonal staff, and volunteers. - Assist with the annual budget requests and monitoring of operating, equipment, stewardship, and project budgets on the Katy Trail. - Assist in the planning process for the new Rock Island Trail development. - Assist in payment processing of invoices and billing related to the Katy Trail, including bill payment, reconciliation, etc. - Assist with guest services at Rock Bridge State Park.
