Role Overview: As a Land Coordinator Intern, you will aide in managing KaMin’s natural resources. You will work independently and collaboratively with an experienced Lands Manager, contributing to the acquisition, management, and development of both existing and new natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of strategies for land, timber, and natural resource management aligned with KaMin’s environmental principles.

• Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of contractual responsibilities, including royalty payments and property tax administration.

• Support mineral resource acquisitions through various acquisition instruments.

• Participate in quality, safety, and environmental programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related Earth Sciences.

• Entry-level experience in land, timber, and/or mineral procurement and management.

• Proficient in computer analysis and software utilization (e.g., Word, Excel, AutoCAD).

• Strong verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to write clear, unambiguous letters and legal documents.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• Desire to pursue professional development (geologist license, forester license, real estate license).

Working Conditions:

• Office setting (60%) and fieldwork in mining or forestry (40%).

• Ability to navigate rough terrain and walk long distances.
