The incumbent is responsible for managing contractors/vendors for landscape maintenance services, landscape enhancements, downtown streetscape maintenance and improvements, beautification projects, decorative exterior lighting installations and maintenance, seasonal décor installations and improvements; managing small capital improvement projects; developing and managing budget to support responsibilities; and coordinating projects with other groups within the department, other departments, and community groups as required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in horticulture or related field and 2 – 3 years in landscape management, public administration, and environmental sustainability; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in project management. Demonstrated organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to perform duties after regular hours, on weekends and holidays, as required to meet community needs.
