Employer Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills PURPOSE OF POSITION: This newly created position will be responsible for overseeing and executing various technology projects from initiation to completion. The initial project will be managing website redesigns for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and strategic planning abilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and under budget.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for project planning and execution, leadership and coordination, risk, budget, and resource management, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance/testingMonitor progress, formulate, and effectively manage IT project timelines and budgets, ensuring project milestones & deadlines are met and properly communicatedFacilitate regular project team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutionsIdentify roadblocks and develop risk mitigation and avoidance effortsCommunicate with project stakeholders including external vendors, IT leaders, and executivesGather, analyze, report, and improve IT metrics through continuous improvement effortsDevelop and implement quality assurance checks and audits to ensure standards are metEvaluate, facilitate and communicate project changes and related budget impactsAssist in defining and implementing an Enterprise Project Management strategy (ie: Agile) within the organizationOther duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:Exhibit strong attention to detail, including excellent organizational & multitasking skillsPossess a strong technical background, including knowledge of software development, network infrastructure, and IT architectureDemonstrate effective leadership skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple departments, teammates, and stakeholders of varying technical backgroundsResolve conflicts and foster a collaborative working environmentProvide constructive feedback and support to team members to keep them motivatedDisplay strong analytical and problem-solving skills including analyzing project data & metricsBe able to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and environmentsKnowledge of Enterprise Project Management strategies. Formal training in specific EPMs is a plus (Agile-certified, etc)Proficiency in project management tools and project management software is preferredEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEFour-year degree and a minimum of 2 years of team and project management experienceA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferredProfessional certifications (PMP - Project Management Professional or Agile-certified) are a plusDemonstrated ability to work independentlyCONFIDENTIALITY REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the individual to have access to confidential records and information.
