Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to conduct research to quantify the distribution and habitat correlates of stream fishes in St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John in the US Virgin Islands. Responsibilities will include conducting stream fish collection surveys, as well as stream habitat and barrier assessments. The candidate will work closely with a diverse group of local and regional collaborators, and will contribute to a growing body of researchers interested in stream ecology and conservation in the USVI. 

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in fisheries, ecology, biology, or equivalent

- Competitive practical experience in fish/invertebrate/ freshwater research 

- Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and quantitative skills 

Salary:
$25,000 for 2.5 years
Benefits:

Position includes full tuition waiver, healthcare included, and 5% annual salary raises upon satisfactory performance
