Natural Resource Specialist 2/NRS1 In-Training

The Timber Cruiser and Small Sales Forester position is a vital position that contributes to the success of meeting our goals and objectives both long and short term while supporting specialized functions within the PC Region state land management programs. The Timber Cruiser and Small Sales Forester primary function provides support to PC Region by performing as a timber cruising specialist, determining cruise design, collecting stand data, and analyzing cruise data. Duties also include performing as a lead forester on small timber sales and timber sale contract compliance including regeneration, and other silvicultural practices. In PC Region, this position may support the fire suppression program during peak workloads.
