As our Nursery Supervisor, you report to our Nursery Manager and will have a significant impact in overseeing every state of the seedling journey, from germination to harvest. You’ll be involved in the strategic planning and implementation of seed stratification, sowing, fertilization, irrigation, crop management, and harvest. Seedling Production Planning: Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to develop and implement strategies for seed stratification, sowing, irrigation, and fertilization. Growth & Development Management: Oversee all cultural activities involved in seedling production, including irrigation management, nutrient application, and pest control. Harvest Hero: Lead inventory management, customer communication, and logistics for fall harvest and seedling shipments. Team Leader & Talent Scout: Supervise and mentor a skilled team, including contract labor, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Facility & Equipment Guru: Ensure the proper maintenance of nursery facilities and equipment to maximize efficiency and safety. Inventory Ace: Track and finalize seedling inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping using our proprietary inventory management system. Logistics Coordinator: Coordinate all seedling shipments, including refrigerated van rentals. Customer Champion: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely communication and excellent service.
