Job Description:

You will gain a well-rounded view of our operational activities and be exposed to a diverse range of timber sales and silvicultural planning. This encompasses:

• Utilization of data recorders and field measurement techniques and tools.

• Timber market analysis.

• Field reconnaissance, mapping, and inventory tasks, utilizing GIS software.

Qualifications:

Degree Concentration

– Forest Management, Forest Engineering

- Each internship duration will last ten to twelve weeks

- Students must provide their own transportation and be capable of safely navigating forest roads (transportation costs will be reimbursed per the IRS rate). 4-wheel drive is required

- Candidates should be self-motivated

- Able to work independently in remote locations

- Able to endure the elements (heat, rain & uneven terrain)

Salary:
Students in their Sophomore ($19/hr) Junior ($21.50/hr), Senior ($23/hr) or Graduate studies ($24.50/hr)
