Job Description:

Research focus for the doctoral student assistant would include development, assessment, and delivery of two undergraduate level courses. One focused on analytical and technical skills and a second on leadership and communication skills. Additional opportunities include developing an educators’ network, collecting and analyzing data, and creating a project website for dissemination and discussion of results. PhD Research Assistantship Available in Bio-based Materials Education.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Interest and experience in curriculum development, pedagogy, and undergraduate instruction plus a Master’s degree in bio-based or renewable materials, materials science, education, engineering, agriculture, or related disciplines. Must apply to Virginia Tech Graduate School for acceptance and be enrolled in Dept. of Sustainable Biomaterials if accepted.
