Deadline: Fri, 12/08/2023 - 12:00pm Employer: University of Georgia - Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources Job Field: Forestry Job Type: Assistantship Location: Georgia Location Detail: Athens, Georgia Job Description: The Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia is searching for M.S. or Ph.D.-level graduate students to conduct research related to forest business sustainability. Projects may involve harvest systems evaluation, transportation logistics, supply chain optimization, business profitability, integrating technology into forest business management, and environmental impact assessments. The specific research focus will be structured to align with the program’s goals as well as the successful candidate’s interests and strengths. Positions are available beginning Spring 2024 (January), Summer (June), or Fall (August) and include an annual stipend (MS: $22,900, PhD: $24,760) and tuition waiver. M.S. students will be funded for two years whereas Ph.D. students will be funded for three years.
