Employer University of Miami Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills The Environmental Psychology Innovation Center (EPIC) in the Biology Department at the University of Miami (Go Canes!) is recruiting for two positions to begin October 2025 (or sooner): 1) Postdoctoral Associate – Cadmium Toxicity ProjectThis project investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying cadmium toxicity. 2) Research Associate – Firefighter Health ProjectThis project explores the transgenerational impact of fire-related contaminants on firefighter health including cancer. Environment: Both positions are led by Dr. Delia Shelton at EPIC, which integrates biology and environmental psychology to address pressing environmental health challenges. By joining the lab, the individuals will be members of a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive research community with opportunities to lead and collaborate on new research directions. They will be mentored in all aspects of the scientific process including experimental design, data analysis, teaching, mentoring, culture of belonging practices, proposal preparation, manuscript submission, disseminating results.
