Job Description:

The Ranch Hand helps to maintain the ranch land, property & equipment, cattle, exotics, and ensures the ranch is operating in accordance with the goals and objectives of the ranch. The Ranch Hand participates in necessary activities related to ranch infrastructure, cattle, and wildlife.

 

We are a private high fence game ranch. Ranch hands are expected to work all aspects of the ranch. Work includes mowing, fixing roads, spraying herbicide, planting, cleaning game animals, filling feeders, conducting animal surveys and prepping for owner visits. Weekend on call duty is rotated between ranch hands. Housing is provided it includes utilities and wifi. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to run large farm tractors, skid steer, excavator and dozers. Work is often preformed outdoors in hot humid or cold freezing conditions. Ability to lift 50lbs is necessary.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors or associates degree in wildlife management

Salary:
neg depending on experience but $18 to $25hr
