Cox Enterprises Properties are two of the most progressive wildlife management tracts in the southeast. Both properties are intensively managed as hunting and recreational estate for owners and guests. The candidate will be responsible for daily operations at Yadkin Ridge located in Allendale, SC. Game species management is at the forefront of our focus while maintaining an ecologically sound environment for non-game species as well. We provide an atmosphere in which our employees can grow and progress through work experience and training. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the Yadkin Ridge property. The creation and completion of tasks concerning all aspects of wildlife with a focus on game species management at Yadkin Ridge. Must be willing to act as a channel of auxiliary support in all aspects of the farm’s upkeep. This individual will be expected to perform tasks in the field and with a willingness to travel between locations. Above all, this position must maintain a steady line of communication between both peers and superiors.

 

Qualifications:

High school graduate and/or equivalent of education and experience required.

Experience: 5+ years wildlife and agriculture management

Preferred background in recreational hunting tract management

High knowledge of firearm safety. Basic knowledge of first aid.

Skills: Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities and advanced communication skills a plus.

Personality: Must be able to effectively interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented with good reasoning skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and ability to navigate digital maps.
