Job Description:

This position offers the opportunity to learn about regenerative agriculture and managing wildlife in agricultural ecosystems. Interns will get hands on experience working with cattle, controlling invasive plant species, and achieve real world experience implementing natural resource management practices on a working landscape.

Qualifications:

Habitat Ranch is a cattle farm practicing regenerative agricultural principles. The goal of the farm is to produce healthy beef that benefits the landscape that it is produced in. By practicing regenerative grazing, along with promoting native plant ecosystems and habitat types, Habitat Ranch aims to be an example of how people and nature can both thrive alongside each other in agricultural systems.

Time commitment: sporadic and flexible. 1-2 hours of work 7-10 days per month. Employer can work around intern’s schedule to some degree.
